It has a 4" clearance to keep a good draft under the firewood, and holds the small pieces of firewood on the grate for a hot, complete burn. A hand-forging process produces a well-fabricated grate that is made to last . This grate has 6 bars and measures 22" Wide in the front x 16" Wide in the back x 16.25" Deep.
