Simply put a light coat over the entire crown followed immediately with a thicker topcoat. CrownCoat cures in two to four hours, that's about half the time as other products! Just make sure the temperature stays above freezing for four hours after application. One gallon covers about 40 sq. ft. that's twice as much as other products and means a 50% savings in material costs per application. Best of all, CrownCoat comes with a 15 year warranty. CrownCoat Brushable Sealant can be used wherever a long-lasting exterior waterproof membrane is needed, such as chimney crowns, chimney corbels, tops of masonry or parapet walls. Another use is for masonry window sills where bricks are laid in a soldier pattern at the base of the window. CrownCoat Brushable Sealant can be custom colored with small amounts of standard mortar dye.
